Open Source Licenses
Information about open-source components used in ISSA IPTV.
ISSA IPTV uses the open-source component libVLC, the multimedia engine from the VideoLAN project. It is used in the application to play IPTV, video streams, and multimedia content. libVLC is distributed under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1 or later.
Using libVLC does not mean that ISSA IPTV is a VideoLAN product or is affiliated with VideoLAN. The names VLC and VideoLAN are used on this page only to identify the component and its right holder. ISSA IPTV does not claim ownership of libVLC, VLC, or VideoLAN.
The LGPL permits using the library in third-party applications, including commercial applications, subject to the license terms. In the current version, ISSA IPTV uses prebuilt libVLC binary libraries and does not directly modify the libVLC source code.
If ISSA IPTV directly modifies LGPL-covered components in the future, the corresponding LGPL component changes will be provided according to the license terms. Users may contact support for information about the component version and official VideoLAN source materials.
This page is intended to notify users about open-source components and is not legal advice.
